Women's & Girls' Rights
Supporting voice, agency, protection and inclusive participation in community and public life.
Advancing peace, climate resilience, women's rights and inclusive development with the communities we serve across Nigeria.
Peace and Climate Empowerment Initiative (PACE) is a Nigerian civil society organisation working to expand opportunity, strengthen protection and support resilient communities.
We bring community voices into the conversations and decisions that shape their lives. Through advocacy, collaboration and practical community engagement, we work with women, young people, local leaders and institutions to advance equitable and sustainable change.
How we work ↗Our work connects the issues communities experience every day, recognising that rights, safety, livelihoods and resilience are deeply linked.
Supporting voice, agency, protection and inclusive participation in community and public life.
Encouraging dialogue, conflict prevention and stronger relationships across communities.
Connecting local climate action with livelihoods, inclusion and community resilience.
Promoting safeguarding, rights awareness and accountability through local engagement.
Communities are not just beneficiaries of change. They are its driving force.
Our project experience reflects community engagement, rights-based advocacy and collaboration with partners and local institutions.

Under the Plan International ASPIRE project, PACE contributed to advocacy and stakeholder engagement addressing the rights and protection of adolescent girls and young women in Sokoto State.
Documented activities include a March 2025 stakeholder roundtable on sexual and reproductive health rights and advocacy concerning domestic violence legislation, alongside engagement on child protection and the role of religious leaders.
PACE is an implementing subgrantee on a United Nations Democracy Fund (UNDEF)-supported initiative led by Grassroot Researchers Association.
The project focuses on strengthening women's participation in climate resilience and conflict prevention in communities in Jos North and Jos South. Activities and verified results will be shared as implementation progresses.
